
TCG Investment Principal
As an Investment Principal at TCG, you will work closely with the Founding Partner to lead deal execution from diligence through investment committee approval. You will oversee transaction structuring, engage with portfolio company boards and management teams, and contribute to post-investment value creation.
What You'll Do
Report directly to Founding Partner
Attend weekly, monthly, and urgent management meetings
Lead and responsible for all deal execution efforts including due diligence, deal negotiation and structuring and investment committee presentation
Provide and design internal training program to junior and senior investment analyst
Attend board meetings in the portfolio companies
Engage directly in the operation of portfolio companies, if needed, till the successful transformation
Qualifications
7+ years demonstrated track record in multinational investment banking, global advisory, or consulting firms
Strong verbal and written communication skills in fluent/native English and Mandarin
Comfort in working in a hands-on and entrepreneurial environment
Passion and commitment to build a career in creating long-term value for portfolio companies
Willing to teach and learn all the time
Nice-to-have's
Experience in private equity
Proficiency in a second language such as Korean, French, Spanish, or Japanese.
A proven record of thinking differently and turning ideas into measurable impact.
Self-motivated and team-oriented, always seeking ways to advance company objectives
